RESTAURANT VIEUX-BOIS, THE FIRST ECOCOOK® LEVEL 3 CERTIFIED RESTAURANT IN THE WORLD

The Restaurant Vieux-­Bois of the Ecole Hôtelière de Genève passed the tests of the Ecocook certification programme and is the first establishment in the world to be confirmed at level 3! This restaurant distinction is comparaBle to the Michelin Stars in terms of excellence and sustainability.. The EHG’s score would be three Stars in the famous red guide. An outstanding result, given that Ecocook certification only has 4 levels!
The Ecole Hôtelière de Genève did not wait to participate in the Ecocook® programme before committing itself fully to sustainable development.

Graduation Ceremony

Marking the end of the student programme and the first steps into the professional world, the graduation ceremony is a major event for the Hotel Management School of Geneva. The “ES” graduates last congregated on Thursday 13 October to receive their degrees at an official ceremony in the prestigious WIPO Hall and in the presence of the Director of the École Hôtelière de Genève, Mr. Alain Brunier, the President of Gastrosuisse, Mr. Casimir Platzer, and the teaching and administrative teams. The promotion sponsor also gives their support and is present throughout the ceremony.
