Graduate students “ES” can join the High School of Business in Geneva (HEG)

The international dimension is at the heart of the curriculum, obtaining a Bachelor degree in business economics in 2 years, mainly oriented towards business and management activities and the new gateway , offered to the graduate students from Hotel Management School of Geneva.

Recently created and inspired by the Anglo-Saxon university model, the Bachelor degree is offered by many business schools. Thanks to the implementation of a five-week study bridge with the Haute Ecole de Gestion de Genève (HEG), you will integrate the 3rd year into a 4-year programme.

The training can be done over two years, full-time or in employment between 50%-80%.

AIM OF THE GATEWAY COURSE

The gateway course allows students holding an ES degree from Hotel Management School of Geneva to acquire or deepen the knowledge necessary for the smooth running of the HES Bachelor’s in Business Economics.

Thanks to this quality teaching, adapted and delivered by specialised professors, the transfer course offers the alumni of Hotel Management School of Geneva the option of obtaining the HES bachelors degree faster by entering the Haute Ecole de Gestion directly in semester 5.

CONTENT OF THE GATEWAY COURSE

Accounting (6 hours per week).
Tax law (6 hours per week).
Political economy (6 hours per week).
Mathematics (6 hours per week).
Statistics (8 hours per week).

The gateway course takes place over 5 weeks, with a timetable of 34 hours of classes per week, from Monday to Friday.

After completion of these courses, a knowledge assessment takes place at the end of May/beginning of June.
