Le Trinquet, a restaurant in Carouge – Les Acacias was created by the OCE to alleviate the shortage of skilled labour in the restaurant sector in Geneva and to promote the rapid and sustainable reintegration of job seekers in this sector.

Restaurant Le Trinquet at les Acacias, run by the Ecole Hôtelière de Genève, focuses its theoretical and practical training on the three key areas of the restaurant business:

• Kitchen
• Service
• Housekeeping

The training team consists of 8 professionals. The structure of the Le Trinquet application restaurant can supervise a team of 25 job seekers. Each candidate is trained in a specific trade for a period of 2 months maximum.

In addition to the qualifying training provided at restaurantLe Trinquet, trainees can enrich their training in the other “Signé EHG” restaurant: Restaurant Vieux-Bois at the Ecole Hôtelière de Genève.
