Susanne Welle

Director, Ecole Hôtelière de Genève

Ms Susanne Welle has been Director of the École Hôtelière de Genève (EHG) since November 1, 2020, following her appointment by the Board of GastroSuisse, the umbrella organization in charge of the establishment. Before joining the EHG, she was Dean of Undergraduate Programs at Les Roches Global Hospitality Education in Crans-Montana.

She brings to EHG recognized expertise and substantial international experience gained at prestigious institutions such as the Swiss Hotel Management School and the Glion Institute of Higher Education, as well as at the École Hôtelière Vatel, where she played a key role in its initial development.

Under his leadership, the EHG aims to continue expanding and improving its educational programs, with an emphasis on innovation and quality, while maintaining its international reputation for excellence.

Duncan Robertson

Duncan Robertson brings to EHG a proven track record in business strategy, digital marketing, corporate communications and B2B development, having led some of the world’s top-ranked Swiss hotel schools. He has successfully led teams in over 28 international markets, including the Swiss Education Group, and co-founded several entrepreneurial projects in the education sector.

His background also includes operational company management, from budget management to brand strategy, contracting, HR management and the development of new growth areas. At EHG, he oversees sales development, global communications and corporate relations. As Deputy Director and member of the Executive Committee, he actively contributes to the strategic vision and expansion of the institution in Switzerland and internationally.

Delphine Genin

At the helm of EHG’s academic management since 2024, Delphine Genin embodies an innovative vision of hotel education, nurtured by an international background combining pedagogy, entrepreneurship and cognitive science. With over fifteen years’ experience in higher education, she has held academic management and innovation development positions at renowned institutions such as César Ritz Colleges and Swiss Education Group.

A specialist in ethics, the neurosciences of learning and active pedagogy, she works on the evolution of educational practices, student well-being and inclusion. At the same time, she has been involved for several years in designing programs based on sustainability, creativity and social impact. As a member of the Executive Committee, she helps shape EHG’s academic identity by combining intellectual rigor, open-mindedness and pedagogical excellence.
