Susanne Welle

Director of the Hotel Management School

Ms. Susanne Welle has been Director of the Hotel Management School (EHG) since November 1, 2020, following her appointment by the Board of GastroSuisse, the umbrella organization in charge of the establishment. Before joining the EHG, she was Dean of Undergraduate Programs at Les Roches Global Hospitality Education in Crans-Montana.

She brings to EHG recognized expertise and substantial international experience gained at prestigious institutions such as the Swiss Hotel Management School and the Glion Institute of Higher Education, as well as at the École Hôtelière Vatel, where she played a key role in its initial development.

Under her leadership, the EHG aims to continue expanding and improving its educational programs, with an emphasis on innovation and quality, while maintaining its international reputation for excellence.

Duncan Robertson

Director of Sales & Marketing / Deputy Director

With a solid track record in leadership roles at some of Switzerland’s top-ranked hospitality schools, Duncan Robertson brings to EHG a recognized expertise in commercial strategy, digital marketing, institutional communications, and B2B development. He has successfully led international teams across more than 28 markets, notably during his time with the Swiss Education Group, and co-founded several entrepreneurial ventures in the education sector. His career also includes the full operational management of companies, from budget planning and brand strategy to contract negotiation, HR leadership, and the development of new revenue streams.

At EHG, he oversees sales, marketing and communications, as well as institutional partnerships. As Deputy Director and member of the Executive Committee, he contributes actively to the strategic vision and international expansion of the institution.

Delphine Genin

Academic Director

Appointed Academic Director of EHG in 2024, Delphine Genin brings a forward-thinking approach to hospitality education, shaped by an international career at the crossroads of academia, entrepreneurship, and cognitive science. With over fifteen years of experience in higher education, she has held leadership roles in academic innovation and curriculum development at institutions such as César Ritz Colleges and the Swiss Education Group.

A specialist in business ethics, learning neuroscience, and active pedagogy, she leads initiatives that enhance teaching practices, student well-being, and inclusive learning environments. In parallel, she has long been engaged in designing programs anchored in sustainability, creativity, and social impact. As a member of the Executive Committee, she helps shape the academic identity of EHG by combining intellectual rigor with openness and pedagogical excellence.
