General information
There is no single "best" hotel school in the world. The best school is above all the one that matches your career plan, your expectations and your way of learning.
The École Hôtelière de Genève regularly features in international rankings, and was recently ranked 6ᵉ best hotel school in the world by CEO World Magazine. These recognitions testify to the quality of the teaching and the reputation of the institution, but they should not be the only criterion for choice.
To make the right choice, it's essential to examine the program, the career opportunities, the alumni's track record, the support offered and, above all, to visit the campus and talk to the staff and students. If a school is right for you, then it's the best school for you.
The École Hôtelière de Genève awards an ES (École Supérieure) diploma recognized at Swiss federal level.
The title obtained is "Hôtelier-Restaurateur", accompanied by the Geneva Patent and the Certificat de Maître d'apprentissage.
ES diplomas are now considered Professional Bachelors, thanks to their high level of qualification, official recognition and strong professional orientation. They are aimed at students wishing to move rapidly into positions of responsibility, thanks to their practical, demanding training, closely linked to the field.
These recognitions, combined with the institution's historic reputation, Swiss excellence and solid network of corporate partners and alumni, ensure lasting recognition of EHG diplomas.
Graduates of the École Hôtelière de Genève work both in Switzerland and abroad, in the hotel and restaurant industries, as well as in related sectors such as luxury goods, events, aviation, finance, human resources and premium services, where their skills are particularly sought-after.
