Academic structure

Gain a general understanding of operational techniques and management in the catering and hospitality industries. Master and optimize your image.

This module combines general knowledge, business management and exploration of the complex world of the restaurant and hotel industries.
All the theoretical knowledge acquired (regulations, menu planning, equipment and materials, knowledge of food and beverage combinations, service and sales techniques, reception, reservations, housekeeping, etc.) is then put to the test at the school’s Restaurant Vieux-Bois and at the Geneva Marriott Hotel, our partner hotel.
As your image is your main communication tool, we’ll have you take part in Image Workshops (dress, hairstyle, make-up, ironing, waxing, ties…) supervised by professionals.

A paid internship in Switzerland to test your skills in a real-life situation.

Acquire knowledge of hotel and restaurant management and business planning, learn how to manage the business and control its development.

This module covers all administrative subjects, from theory (accounting, Swiss law, political economy) to operating and control techniques for hotel reception and catering, including the organization of visits, conferences and events, as well as general culture and languages (English and German).

A paid internship in Switzerland to test your skills in a real-life situation.

Develop the global vision and techniques needed to ensure the economic, commercial and social success of a company.

You’ll learn how to master the tools of management and apply them to the hotel and restaurant business.
Human resources management, marketing, communication, financial management, technical management… the courses are clearly oriented towards management.
You’ll be required to produce and defend a diploma thesis in front of experts, focusing on a specific case in the hotel or restaurant industry.
