EHG enters the global Top 5 in the 2026 CEOWORLD Magazine ranking, further reinforcing its position among the leading institutions in hospitality education
Ecole Hôtelière de Genève (EHG) has been ranked the 5th best hospitality school in the world for 2026 by CEOWORLD magazine, following its 6th place ranking in 2025. This international recognition highlights EHG’s ongoing commitment to excellence in Swiss hospitality education since 1914, as well as the daily work and dedication of the entire EHG community: students, alumni, faculty members, staff and industry partners.
This progression is part of a broader dynamic of international recognition. EHG was also ranked 22nd worldwide in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026 in the Hospitality & Leisure Management category, representing a rise of 8 places compared to 2025 and 29 places since 2024. The school was also ranked 15th worldwide for Employer Reputation, a particularly meaningful indicator in an industry where employability and career opportunities play a central role.
These distinctions come during an important period of development for the institution. In 2026, EHG is also celebrating 30 years as an officially recognised Swiss Higher Education Institution (École Supérieure). The school recently launched a new postgraduate programme in Luxury Hospitality & Product Management, as well as eight new continuing education certificates designed for hospitality professionals.
Interest in EHG’s programmes continues to grow steadily. The Semaine Découverte programme is fully booked, while the ES programme is experiencing particularly strong demand, with the objective once again of opening three full classes for the Autumn 2026 intake.
These results reflect years of continuous work focused on academic development, pedagogical innovation and the evolution of the student experience. EHG continues to strengthen its partnerships with industry, further develop its curriculum and deepen its understanding of the expectations of new generations, while ensuring students are equipped with the best possible career opportunities upon graduation.

The school also continues to integrate sustainability and social responsibility principles across its activities, both within classroom learning and throughout its strategic development as an institution
As always, EHG believes rankings should be considered as one indicator among many when choosing a higher education institution. A school is also chosen for its values, its human environment, its educational vision, the quality of support provided to students and the opportunities it creates for their future.
Founded in Geneva in 1914, EHG remains committed to a human scale approach centred around academic excellence, soft skills, innovation and close connections with both students and industry.
The school would like to warmly thank everyone who contributes to this collective momentum every day: students, graduates, partner companies, faculty members and internal teams.
As this pursuit of excellence continues, EHG is extremely proud of this recognition and will continue its commitment to educating the hospitality professionals of tomorrow with humility, ambition and determination.
