Human size, engaged in the transmission of traditional as well as modern knowledge, made for the Swiss hotel fabric (I know, there are more than 3 words, let’s say it’s more like 3 ideas!).
Semester I, beginning of the practical restoration courses, M. Fantoni, Professor (Meilleur Ouvrier de France).
He explains the programme of the next 50-minute lesson: putting a tablecloth on the table.
In my head, I said to myself: “My God, it’s going to be long. It takes 30 seconds to put a tablecloth on the table.” I didn’t see the 50 minutes go by and I learned a lot more than I expected: passion, precision… and of course putting a tablecloth on the table! I still remember it today (of course, there are so many other anecdotes to tell, even 20 years later, but this one, in this context, seems to me to be the most representative).
If you choose to acquire relevant knowledge in a school on a human scale, if you are pragmatic, passionate and hard-working, if you have the ambition to take over a hotel establishment in Switzerland or to make a career in the international hotel industry, without excluding a career in another sector, the EHG is for you.
